Pick an hour to talk about the file

A calendar shows the whole spread of the work at once, every hour you might use and the month you still have to face. We like a view that is only the hours. A calendar does that job for the work. You pick the hour. The month you bring is the whole agenda. Nothing in the company file is edited while we talk.

Have the month you last trusted in mind, if you have one. If the books and the bank parted company and you cannot say when, say that. It is a complete answer. We would rather start from an honest blank than from a month you picked to sound organized.

Some owners skip the calendar and type the month into the note under it. That note comes to the same person who would have taken the hour, so one path is enough.

The hour you pick is a conversation about the month the books stop matching the bank. Nothing in the file is edited before that.
